Took the train usually. Got on at Greensburg, promptly fell asleep, and the conductor woke me the stop before I had to get off. Also carpooled with 3 other guys for awhile. it was OK, but I could homework on the train and was never able to do it in the carpool. THAT was a lifetime ago....LOL...

Best 2 suggestions I can offer are 1.) get the 3 volume factory service manual set for your year, and 2.) just be very careful when you do the work. Most people cover the intake holes in the heads with the wide blue "painters tape" to prevent things from falling down there. Keep tabs on where...

Gibby, mine failed and I had it replaced. They pulled the intake off to change the sender, and replaced the "o-rings" that seal the manifold to the heads as well. It's a pain to do, and there are 2 ways to do it that I know about. One is to remove the intake, and the second is to drill a large...

Still in Massachusetts! Gettin colder here by the day. I still work here, so we only get to Florida 2 or 3 times a year. Not NEARLY enough! The Vette was purchased in Florida, and as far as I know, when I brought it up in April of this year, it was the first time it had left the state. 2 days...

The belts WILL stretch with age. Make sure that the tensioner is within it's acceptable window. If it isn't, replace the belt as a first step because it needs it. If it's within the acceptable window, your problem could still be the belt, but may be elsewhere as well..... Andy :w
