:soapbox Hopefully, after all the sorting and organizing is completed, Mr. Michaelis will do the right thing and donate the material to the museum. It would be a grand gesture on his part and a way to give something back to the Corvette family that has done so much for him over the years.

Thank you Midnight 99 for the reply. I have considered the electric fan, but I am unsure of whether or not I will have enough clearance in front of the radiator. Perhaps the clutch fan will provide the extra cooling I need. The adventure continues. I'll keep you posted and thanks again..

I have had similar problems like the one you experienced and found that the battery was the cause. These cars seem to use up batteries in a hurry.
