It's bad enought that we have to pay high gas prices,then they have to screw around with it!Florida gas is always higher than the national average.Whats up with that?:mad

Vetteboy-you are right about florida gas!7-11 gas is horrible!My truck bucked,jumped missed you name it!sounds like water to me!Stopped using it truck was fine!rotten bas------!I never took the vette there.Anyway I think tim is right-I do a lot of city driving.Thanks for all your comments guys.:beer

It's good to know that I can safely use a lower grade-but my dic screen says about 17 mpg when before it was about 26mpg.Could that be the gas or something else?The car runs fine.:confused

I don't know what is wrong with your top,but my roof was peeling-bad a new roof panel as you must know is not cheap!Others may not fit well.I had an auto body shop repaint mine gloss black.now I can't see through it,but so what-it looks great.:beer

Thanks everyone!I was just trying to get other peoples ideas on this.The mid grade seems o.k.I have never used regular.Like someone said performance will most likely be down,but I really don't drag race.I just wondered if it would hurt my motor,and for some reason my MPG has dropped off.

With the HIGH gas prices,has anyone switched brands or grades?I tryed Sunoco mid grade-seems to be o.k.

I think they help.Just look at your stock set-up!Look at the small air hole A open filter probly gives a few horses at speed,and they look nice:w

sometimes I went to an automatic car wash-duh! and everytime the right turn bulb blew-out,somehow water was getting in-no more auto. car washes! the socket was blackened.replaced the bulb and now it has been o.k.Don't know if this is your prob. or not.I think water or moisture gets in maybe...

I just lowered the rear 0f my c5-it evens it out-stogies looks like it has air shocks on the rear!maybe someone had big tires on it at one time,some are high from the factory. i did not mess with the front bolts,it already scrapes the air damn on everything.Jack up your vette and turn the spring...
