    A lot of guys use the G.M.red hi-po plug wires-I paid 60 dollars for mine.You can spend 100 to 200 dollars for plug wires,not needed on a stock vette if you are running turbos headers etc.then I would go with them:thumb

    They are just for heat.When I changed plugs last time I left them off-but keep them,then I went with a good hi-po plug wires-everything is fine without them.:thumb

    I agree vette boy!Just use Mobil1 and be done.Two BIG corvette debates-oil brands and wax brands go figure.:cool

    I used Royal Purple in my LS1.It is big$$$Did I notice a change-no.The oil appeared thiner than Mobil 1.I'm just going to use Mobil 1 and be done with it their is no real reason to try different brands-for what reason?Just keep it full and clean.:thumb

    Roof off - wind noise - coupe

    yea,this is part of the corvette c-5 world,seems they all have little things like wind noise,belt noise,wackey gas gauges,pegged oil gauges,noisey fuel pumps,tire wear etc. etc.enjoy!;shrug

    Just got back from Miami.My new tires worked out well in the rain,half way across alligator alley it poured!B.F.goodrich a/s held good.Had to pass two ricers hogging the left lane wtf.I threw a dirty roostertail on them!Sorry ricers:chuckle

    Edmond-I paid 160 each for this tires from tire rack which I think is a great deal.I just can;t see paying Big Bucks on tires for a car I put on 5000 miles a year! install was free-friend at a dealership!:thumb

    thanks-that sounds like good advise!Here in sw florida its pretty hot year round and interstate driving heats tires up quick.A run to Miami and they are 35-36psi.I think I'll keep them at your setting and check them. thanks:beer

    Thanks guys!LLc5 I think I'll try 28psi cold in the rears and check them like you said,my salesman at Tire Rack said a lot of Vette owners and Porshe owners tell him the same thing-the rear centers wear out first. I'd like to slow that somewhat problem down on my new rubber!:thumb
