My car is much older than yours, but I'd be lookin' at the relay.

The front looks aftermarket and with the wiper door removed it appears to be a 1973 at a glance. It does have the fiber optic center console from a 1971 though. If I had to count all the parts and body panels that were correct on my car I could do it on two hands.

I like that white with red! Very 1970's (ala Huggy Bear). You can try the lexol and white spray shoe dye, but you need to really clean that leather first and get the black stuff out of the worn areas. Lexol leather cleaner is good stuff, but be gentle you wouldn't want to push through one...

IF you have black leather you can do this: Go to a good shoe repair store, buy black shoe dye in a spray can, buy Lexol hide food. Put about a table spoon of the Lexol on a white rag in a puddle in the palm of your hand, then spray (soak) the puddle of Lexol with the spray on shoe dye. Rub it...

Sounds like you need to add some antifreeze to your headlight fluid...

ZZ4 is a very nice motor for a Vette and I've heard they get decent MPG. After you buy all the goodies and pay someone to fix up your L81 you may as well just get a ready to go motor with all the cool toys and a warranty. My 383 gets terrible MPG.

My 69 L48, TH400 with 3.08 did 18+ hwy about 14 city when it was stock. The tech talked me out of the 4spd auto conversion with 3.73's last time I overhauled the drivetrain. I still run the 3.08 and TH400 and the stroker gets HORRIBLE MPG!

If you like lots of head pounding drone, the flowmasters will work great. I like a very loud exhaust note, but I like it to go out the back of the car, not in my interior. (I'm not a fan of blowmasters, they give me a headache)

GM saw fit to equip new crate motors with roller rockers. I'm just sayin...

Other than my car, I'm just going to go with the pic above! (That would be the black '71 roadster with the LS conversion).
