I drove that car when it was new in 1981 (a left over 1980, 305 California Vette). I could comment as I remember the ride clearly, but I just can't bring myself to say those things about a Vette, even that one. On the bright side, the Chevette Diesel was far worse.

Very nice, well thought out product and it looks good on your car. I keep my 69 looking pretty much stock so I wouldn't use it on that car, but if I had body mods I'd be all over it.

Those are not Saratogas. I'll take a picture of one and post it so people can see what they are. They're kind of bizarre relecs from the late 60's and early 70's.

Retro is great! But I hope the powers at GM continue moving ahead with the Corvette and let other models try to move back to the past. There is so much of that Retro stuff to choose from, Corvette doesn't need to go back in time to sell cars. BTW, I think the Vette above is very cool!

Don't do it, the R 12 is better. I did it, it works okay but I wish I had never messed with it. It's not as cold, you have to run a pusher fan at all times when the AC is on or you make to much head pressure and blow the front seal out of your compressor. I don't like it one bit. I have a '69...
