    C5 driver footrest broke off

Should be easy to remove and repair. Only 2 nuts dold it in place with the studs mounted in the floor pan. You should be able to glue (gorilla glue) the broken tabs. :pat

    Question: C-5 windshield wipers ?

Use Rain-X and you can throw the blades away. I don't need to use my wipers even up here in the Pacific Northwest. :pat

Wipers have a mind of there own

Also check the washer button on the end of the stalk. If the button pops out, the washer punp and wipers will run continuously. I had that issue with my 02 vert. Parked in the garage for about a month, started it, wipers & washer pump going crazy. I was able to find the 2 tiny springs and the...

Now that you've had your Supercharger a while

Over 2 years with my A&A P1SC setup. 480 rwhp. No problem with tranny since I had an FLP Level IV installed the same time. No major problems and I take it on long road trips. Since your in So Cal, see Andy Green at A&A Corvette Performance in Oxnard. http://www.aandacorvette.com/ He's the best...

    C5 Superchargers

I would highly recommend Andy Green at A&A Corvettes or East Coast Supercharging for any supercharger kit and/or install. The original ATI kits were garbage..poor brackets, poor pully bearings, belt alignment, overheating, very poor customer service, etc. Both A&A & ECS redesigned the brackets...

    Lighting Question

The T-84 Euro lights have a much better pattern than the stock lights. You can also use 90/135 watt bulbs if you make a new harness with relays. It really isn't that difficult.

    Superchargers

The 4L60E A4 tranny is only rated to 350 lbs torque. That is why torque management is programmed into the PCM. The tranny will go south with 490 rwhp. I had a FLP Level IV tranny installed the same time as my supercharger install.

What Oil Filter Do you use?

Delco UPF44 Gold. I change motor oil every 5,000 miles the same time I change my supercharger oil.

Where am I and how do I get there

Garmin Street Pilot III. It is portable so I am able to use it in various vehicles including rental cars. I programed in all the hotels we stayed in on our trip to BG and Nashville for the 50th. Was able to drive directly to each hotel without worrying about getting lost or carrying a lot of maps.

    Opinions on Brake lights

I agree. I did mine for about $9 in parts from Lowes. 6 - 1" nylon spacers, 2 - 3/4" nylon spacers; 8 - #8 x 2' pan head screws; and blavk rubber weather striping. :pat

    Important Procharger information

Andy Green at A&A Corvettes is one of the most stand-up ethical people that I have ever met. He always goes the extra mile to satisfy his customers. Between A&A Corvette and ECS hard work and R&D, they have eliminated all the belt slipping, belt alignment, overheating, poor fitting intercoolers...

    Turbo/Super for a C5?

Yes, a supercharger can be installed on a stock internal engine without major issues as long as you keep it down below 550 RWHP and get a good tune. Also keep the AFR at WOT below 11.9 and run good gas to avoid detenation. Talk to Andy Green at A&A Corvette http://www.aandacorvette.com/ about...
