Get frame savers and rocker rails from A&A Corvette Specialties ti protect the body if your going to lower it. The wheeled frame savers are great to get in and out of inclined driveways and the rocker rails have prevented damage to my rockers going over large speedbumps.

The Baer Eradispeed or Baer Enhanced rotors that are slotted and cross-drilled are great looking and performing street rotors. Since all cross-drilled rotors can develop micro cracks under extreme conditions, I would get slotted rotors for serious track useage.

Just gently pull them out. A large screwdriver or putty knife makes it easier.

Vette Essentials is the best available. The leather is superior to OEM and the color matches perfectly.

I currently run Chevron 91 octane gas without any problems. Before the SC install, I had a Blackwing and ran Arco gas without problems. The PCM should relearn the extra airflow from a different air filter. It doesn't sound like your PCM has compensated for the added airflow by increasing fuel flow.

I had a similar sound. It was the core of the catalytic converter that came apart.

I used Cascade V1 which is thinner than Dynamat, then glued down a layer of Reflectix(the foil covered bubble wrap insulation material available at Home Depot). This along with replacing the run-craps reduced interior noise substantially.

I run Z06 chromies 18x9.5 front and 18x10.5 rears. Michelin Pilot Sports 265x35x18 front and 295x35x18 rears. Lowered about 1". I like the look of 18" wheels

No real problems with lowering, you just have to be more careful. I cut about 1/2 of the front bushing off the front and lowered the back about 1". You can lower a base suspension car more than a Z51 or Z06 suspension due to softer springs in the base suspension. Would install A&A frame savers...

The Optima Red Top 78/34 (large) is rated at 900 CCA. The Yellow Top is slightly less but can handle more discharge/recharge cycles when you have large current draws (amps, etc). The Yellow Top is also better if the car is stored for long periods.
