I guess thats a new one on me,any time I have had a belt make noise,its been too loose(squealing and rattling)or too tight, or misaligned with another pulley(bad bearing/grinding noise)Sometimes they have come off or flipped over and broke at higher revs(dented pulley)I learn something new...

Alignment You need an alignment,your rear camber rods have slid out of adjustment.They probably werent torqued to 187 ft lbs like they were supposed to be.But its very common for c4's.

Belt grip I am curious why you want belt grip at all?For something other than a slipping belt,I hope?
