"reeled in a 2006 Z06"?..........;LOL ;LOL ;LOL ;LOL
come on guys....505HP and how much torque?.....;LOL
I wonder just how much NOS a GTO would need to keep up to that race car called the Z06?
Car mags are comparing the stats. to cars like the ENZO.
Gimme a break..........and a Z06 :w
Space Cowboy........don't feel like you are the first to get a "bad engine re-build.I have a brother -in-law who re-builds engines and he has had to re-build engines that were"done" by someone else.In every case they got what they paid for. When something is cheaper ask yourself why.....most of...
I agree with the statement that "put your money where your mouth is " is offensive.
I've had plenty of cars to know that no matter the make there can be problems.
I agree that it sucks when things happen and maybe the timing is bad (dealer closed),but I wouldn't go so far as to shoot the whole...
I had mine Polished. It's a bit of a PITA because they tend to fade and need polishing but the shine is worth it.
I paid $300.00 (can.) this past summer to get them real shiny.
I guess chrome is better because there is no need to "re-polish them" after a few years....whichever you...
....Thank you for your input as a satisfied customer....Please let us know what your 0-60 and 1/4 mile times were if you had the chance to bring your mean-machine to the track.Nothing promotes a product better than a satisfied customer.
So basically War Veteran coming back from fighting for the lives of his fellow Americans(Kalifornians) will not be able to take his original early 70's Covette for his Sunday drive to the show'n'shine....:crazy ...Can't these useless gov't officials find a real job instead or better yet send...
I like the fighter jet analogy too...:D .I have been thinking of selling my 92 to buy a C5 or C6 but I haven't done it yet.
It all depends on what your budget allows and most importantly which look you prefer.
I must admit the C5 is a smoother ride but the only reason I would trade up would be...
At least it made for some "action".
I don't know what it is but honestly can't watch a minute of Nascar.
Don't they fall asleep going round and round?
I prefer F1
I changed my 2.73 gears to 3.73 in my 92 automatic. It was great for city driving and sprinting around town until it broke down. Some of the teeth cracked and so I had to re-install the originals.
I would probably do it again only if the gas prices would go down a little......It's expensive on gas...
I too believe they are wrong but they like many others don't give GM the credit they deserve regarding the Corvette.
As for service.....GM dealers' service sucks compared to Mercedes and Infinity.I speak from experience
My 1992 Corvette convertible will blow the doors off my 2003 CLK 430...
Beautiful.........Congrats..........It's easier to watch the "kills"in the rear view mirror while driving in a convertible !!!!!!...........I like the mags too.Nothing better to look at than that big dose of shine.
I just had mine "touched up" because they had started to fade a little.I find...
My 2003 CLK430 has a 5 speed automatic transmission that can be shifted manually. It does have it's limitations and for the most part it is used in "D"
When wanting to change gears all I have to do is either tap the shifter to the right for a higher gear or tap it to the left for a lower gear...
Congrats on your Vette.:blue:
I agree with everything JRMAROON mentioned except I have the option of starting my Vette as much as I can.It 's a little hard to resist taking off with the car.
I also put it up on stands, this gives the suspension a break during the winter.
Did you get used to the...
P.S......I had 3.73 gears before they broke(I have no clue why?).....Let me say that wizzing around town was a blast but the gas on the highway was brutal (at the cost of gas now it would hurt even more)
I don't use my Vette much but it if were a daily driver I don't know if I would have changed...
