how much do you think it would cost to convert a LT1 into an LT4. Im sure you could do it it is the same basic block.

Other than the paintjob what other mods does a grand sport have that you can’t get on a non grand sport with the LT4 option? I know they were limited to 1000 units. But to pay 10 to 20000 more for a paint scheme seems silly to me. Maybe if they had some transmission or break upgrades I don’t know??

Well I called today to see how much insurance would be on a 96 LT4 I plan on getting. They want $750 a year full coverage (Liberty Mutual) I think that is high. I am 29 married 1 child 0 tickets 0 accidents I live In New Hampshire this will be a third car that I only drive 3 to 4 thousand miles...

All things being equal, head to head bone stock who would win a race between a C4 LT4 and a C5 LS1? From a stop or a rolling start? I will be purchasing a new Vett soon and I don’t know if I should buy a LT4 or a C5 I love both. My last Vette was a 79 with a L98.

Maybe someone can help me? I have read that the 340 HP the LT 4 is rated at is just a min. and that most LT4s have much more HP. Most fall in the 350 to 375 range. Is this true and if it is what accounts for such a big HP range in similar power engines
