Nope, and as I suspected the tail extension will NOT clear the cross-member. However, it did come back enough to where I could wedge a piece of wood between the cars floor underside panel and the cone to lock it in place. Knocked the oil seal out... Be careful of the little speedo plastic drive...

Sure looks like a tight fit to get it out...I ain't messing with that cross member when it's up on jack stands!

Thanks for that, I believe I have the TH350 which appears to take the kit you listed! And by the size of that O-Ring, the tail shaft would be small enough to slip right past the cross-member :thumb

Anyone got a part number for a SKF seal...auto? Also, I'm guessing the output 'bushing' can't be replaced with the trany in the car...correct?

I think I've got yet ANOTHER issue...I drove 90 miles to purchase Trailing arm bushing and also to have the retailer/shop press them in. I'm just noticing, on one side of both arms, the 'flair' is sticking out past the thick washer. As a result, the Trailing Arm shim won't be sitting on the...

Well, whatever it 'should' be...mine is now at 40 lbs torque on my cover. I found the iron diffs were 50lbs torque, but I didn't want to take it that high being its aluminum threads...and 40lbs may still be too much. Used a little blue-loctite too. Hopefully, the diff will be bolted back in...

Too funny...and yes I know those posters all too well. During my youth I remember having a Matchbox Corvette car and telling myself I would one day own one. I never actually had Fara in the flesh but still had her many times...and I'm still keeping my hopes up for the Lambo lol
