    First Ride Of Spring

I know,it isnt officially Spring yet, especially here in the Northeast, but we recently had a deluge of heavy rain (more coming tonight and Saturday) which washed any salt residue of the main roads, and the snow is basically gone, for the time being. I got out of work early today, and took the...

For '81 Beige/Dark Bronze Vettes Only

Thanks for the nice compliment, looks like the twin to your great looking 81. The paint is original as well as the rest of the car. They really went all out on these first run clearcoat finishes, which were new in the industry at the time, and shows that the paint can stand the test of time...

Question: Is it EVER too COLD to take out the Corvette?

I started my 81 yesterday, first time in a month, and let her run in the driveway for 30 minutes to get her good and warmed up,and to dissapate any fuel, oil and moisture in the exhaust. The stock L81 fired up as if I had just started it. Temp outside was 11 degrees. I could of just as easily...

Nice to see another "twin " to my 81,also in great condition. keep in mind that no exact figure is on file, but talking to some senior and retired BG plant employees, at Carlisle this year, no more then 800 or so were produced in this color combination, and only in 81. ken
