I am in the process of replacing my Bose unit in my 88. My new cd player has a wire for the power antenna. Which wire goes to the power antenna? Also, what size are the Bose speakers in the fornt door, 3.5 or 4 inch? Thanks for any help.
Yes I can disengage the overdrive by pushing the button. I will check the TPS and then the ECM. This car still has the original ECM, so maybe that could be the problem. Thanks for the info.
I am having problems with my 4+3 overdrive on my 88. The overdrive will engage just fine but will not go off when I floor the gas pedal. The car has 48,000 miles and I have changed the fluid and filter in the overdrive unit. I need help, thanks.
A switch was mentioned that was to be on the back of the compressor, I don't see it. I see two switches on the a/c line. One small and one large. Could one of these two switches be what he was talking about? If it is one of these switches, which one and can they be replaced without opening...
Would the A/C switch be the problem even without the A/C being turned on? I can turn the A/C on before the temp gauge reads 130 and the main fan will come on like it is supposed to. Could it be the temp sending unit by the throttle body?
having a problem with my 88 4spd. the main cooling fan in coming on at 130. the car is stock. i believe the temp gauge is correct, the fan comes on a few minutes after starting it and letting it idle. Please help.
