I have installed a few LT1's in older vettes and other cars. I am putting one in my C1 project. I'm using a SRIII frame. They don't perform as well as the LS1 moters but I like them and they run great. I have seen to many problems with LS1's. The LT1 is still a good old small block. ( well kinda )

What color is the car going to be? Most guys including myself don't like clear on non metalic colors. White, red, black,yellow and so on. Single stage paint looks super nice when sanded and buffed.
