This is the shifter console for the Xfire. The overdrive button was located in the console and not the shifter. Includes the ashtray door. In good condition. $75 plus shipping.
The IAC ports should have been blocked when you did the initial balancing. You can also block them by turning ignition ON, no start, then pull IAC harness connectors. Start the motor and balance TBs. And yes, then reset the TPS to .54v or so.
Pair of MFlow mufflers w 3" inlet and 2 4" rolled tips. Used about 3k miles.
Great shape. $165/pair + shipping.surrexi2@comcast.net.

Rubie,
The LT-5 is incredibly durable. Witness the 24hr Endurance records. In Heart of the Beast,
you'll learn about some of the torture testing. If the motor breaks, it will be because you meant to do that. Marc Haibeck recently did a freshening up of a 200k motor and found that the liners...
Time to trade it in on a ZR-1. Seriously, the performance isn't really comparable. The LT-5 is making 330-340rwhp in stock trim.
Some DIY modding (ie top end porting + headers) gets you to ~ 400rwhp on a stock 5.7L motor. Its not even close. My car was trapping at 118+mph. The 1000' mark is when...
The manifolds are essentially the same. One mod done for the 84 motor was adding a opening in the common wall of adjacent runners. It looks a bit like a teardrop and was supposed to be
responsible for the additional 5hp. The Xfire is definitely a DIY project but there's plenty of
documentation...
Craig,
Here's the post from the Registry that explains it pretty well.

If this is the vacuum solenoid from a Suburban or Escalade. the answer is yes. This topic was
recently addressed at the ZR-1 registry. the bracket is different but can be modified to work.
This rendering looks like a hodgepodge of automotive cliches. Certainly not the "bold" I would expect coming from a guy like Lutz.
The Atlantique, now that was BOLD!
I have Z06 wheels on my 92 ZR-1. The tires are Nitto Invos. They're very quiet, stick much better than the GY F1s and are pretty good in the rain. I don't have the same problem you C6 and C5 guys have since I still have a spare tire in the back. ;):w
