    I tend to follow the "Jonh Z" school of thought. In my set up Every part of the ignition system and most impotantly the Vacuum advance and distributer cuves and mechanical advance along with base timing was addressed. As you can see..my 65 is powred by a 502BB..It runs 180 in traffic and max...

    I've had bad experience with the Mallory "Unilite" on my old 73 Ford Thunderbird. The LED burned out and left me high and dry.     I agree... The most important part of the Corvette is the braking system. If the 63's system is reconditioned as stated above he'd have a much safer Corvette. After all... who rides in it ...his kids .. his wife...his friends..?? There are plenty of 63's cruzen around with stock set ups.

    As far as my $.02 goes... When I came up with my figure of $75K ...I used the condition of the car Number 1 thru 5 and took into consideration the work done to the car "Restored Complete Rebuilt Frame" "new GMZZ502 Engine and 5 Speed Keisler Transmission" and new componets in the driveline...

    Wait till you change out the motor for a "572'' Big Block and then go for a Richmond 5 or 6 speed. Then...you'll really get it..:D;LOL
