    63 drag vette

Love the video of the '63 drag vette. I have seen that car up close and it is a real beauty. I really enjoyed the early drag movie, it sure brings back a lot of memories. I was very hooked on drag racing in my younger days. Thanks for the trip down memory lane. Take care, Brian

To 'Spare' or not to 'Spare'

I carry spare KO and tire in the tub. Have a jack, lug wrench, block of hardwood and a BFH for replacing the wheel.

    Holy Cow!!!

This is a perfect example of what can happen when "your brain is on drugs". Kinda like the results of an automotive design class on LSD.

Today was a very busy day for the C1

As others have said....those wheels look great. That car is going to have a nice attitude when it is all done. I can't wait to hear your first impressions after driving it with the new suspension. I really enjoy reading all your updates. Keep all the pics and info coming. Take care, Brian

    Pictures of the 1963 SWC

The car looks great Ray! As others have said, you do really nice work. I sincerely feel that one of the best parts of owning these cars is doing your own work on them and thoroughly enjoying the finished product. Hope to meet you and see some of your projects in person one day. Take care...

Any Body Running a FI Vette?

Hi Craig, It is always tempting......modern powertrain with a SRIII tube chassis and C5 suspension.....the best of both worlds. Cruise in looks and "long legs" for trips on almost any fuel. Take care, Brian

Any Body Running a FI Vette?

Hi Wally, I have found that the gas quality has deteriorated greatly over the last number of years. I have difficulty with the gas percolating / vaporizing easier when restarting after a 20 minute "heat soak". Although this has always occured to a degree, it takes longer to get it to "clean...

Great Day At Vintage Thunder XV Yesterday

Thanks for posting the pics Chuck. It look like it was a lot of fun. They are meant to be driven and enjoyed as much as possible. I used to run my '65 at Napierville (South of Montreal) when I lived in Quebec. Lots of fun. Ran 13.6 / 105mph on Micheclin radials. I took a bunch of...

    Long distance evaluation

John's advice is right on the money. Don't even consider anyone that does not have extensive vintage Corvette experience. Take care, Brian

    WTF....Popping Sound From The Diff...

Yes VNV, It was exactly like you describe. You could feel it only after a long run, especially on a warm day. Good luck! Brian

    WTF....Popping Sound From The Diff...

I had the same problem in my '65 a few years ago. Draining the fluid, and putting in 2 bottles of GM additive along with fresh fluid, combined with the multi figure 8's corrected the problem. (I did not drive it in reverse though):D Take care, Brian

Time for an update on Henny496's project

Wow Tom, that is really starting to come together. Which motor are you going to run in it first? The Tunnel Ram or the full Blower setup? What colour will it be? You are making us all drool on our keyboards.......can't wait to see it in real life! Take care, Brian

    In the beginning

Welcome to the CAC. The best part about these cars is the long term projects. Just as Studiog says, the passion will drive you through the process. It is super that you have managed to hang on to it over the years. Post lots of pics and give us lots of updates, we all love a big projest...

That is a great idea Ray. Thanks for posting the pics. I have to put a new Eaton spring under my wife's '78 and that will save me some grief. Take care, Brian
