Rob: I had the Pilots on my 93'....................They are in fact, much much, quieter and softer...............than the Good for a Good Days......They also seem to provide more traction.......in wet wx. You'll notice when you see them on the car .....that they have more of a balloon look to...
Naturally, I am partial to red.................I ordered it red..had it professionally redone to specs w/collector silver.........also to the wheels..........it is all paint including the hash marks..........as to the value..........I could probably sell it in a minute to a buckeye........but I...
Welcome to the boards.......glad to have you
IMHO......I'd go for the lower mileage........flyin' purple mustang eater.........I like the idea of 16k.........but.....they are so out there on the $$'s........they live in Austin...you say??
It has been my experience to dump the computer mem about every 6 mos. or so............then take it out and nail it.......that will reset the box to the max performance defaults...........that get altered based on city and slow driving conditions over time.........
AAA and a cell phone.....can do and do......flats here in Mi are like all the time....and the Z06 stuff seems to play havoc w/ my sensors.......but then that would be a different tread .......I mean thread.........
I might also add at this point> the michelin's are quieter and softer on the hwy..........last longer as well...........If you are gonna make the change........ I'd investigate installing 275.40's all the way around so you can rotate every 9 or 10k...
Welcome to the boards.....
That's a really good ?? You could switch to Michelin's ........but more than likely you'll have to stick with the good years........I don't have a clue how you got 40k out of those tires? I got 14k out of my rears........:w :w
Welcome to the boards.............if you look in the Mid-America, Eckler's, or Corvette Central.............everything your heart (not pocketbook) desires is there for your dining (driving) pleasure.......open air box..k&n filters...mass air flows (hi-po), and free flow throttle body...
Don't want to burst any bubbles here, but............when you borrow a top to see if you like it..................I hope the guys a real good friend............because the top....any top .....solid or glass........ if it didn't leave the factory with the car.........you will have to align it to...
Lani the LT1 will differ slightly from the LT4......if anything it might actually be a tad cooler.........and .....you have a spare w/carrier?? Lucky.....:w :w
yes, yes, and doncha just love it..............you Gotta like the way the ford guy looks at ya..............on those warm summer nights at the stop lite............heck.....I do.........it's a boost......(pun)
a decent used one will run around 5-700.....................I have an extra ......never used ......new one .........but it's NOT cheap..............(blue tint)
for used ...........try this fella...........at least they are reputable:

First......how long has the car been sitting...........or doing limited duty...........w/o an owner..........here's why: when mine sits for a while.........the seals dry out and when its driven daily they soak up and expand reducing the leak to an occasional drip........which is normal .....and...
My Corvette seems like it's maybe even a little lower than most vettes. I'm not sure.
