Stepinwolf (Bob),
Great post. Every time I talk to you or read an e-mail or post from you, I want to build a new project:D
This work stuff is eating into my free time......I guess I need to semi-retire again;LOL
Take care,
Brian
Tom,
Just let us know what day and we will be there. We are all just chomping at the bit to see your fantastic handi-work up close:D
It looks great !
Take care,
Brian
Thanks for the kudos, Studiog, but the real credit goes to my wife. She has all the talent in the web design field and loves to build websites.
How could I not link it to Bob's site.......his car is totally cool and he only lives 20 mins from my house...he's practically family:D
Take care,
Brian
Hi Studiog,
The car looks great! The first ride (no matter how long) is always a blast. I love those solid axle cars, especially the '61s. My first vette was a 270 hp '61
Keep those pics coming, we all love 'em.
Take care,
Brian
Thanks for the update it makes us feel a little closer to the action. I am sure that many others just like me wish they could be there having a blast too!
Glad to see that you are driving your car and enjoying it. They need to be driven. Have a great trip home!
Take care,
Brian
Hi Ray.
Several folks I know seem to be real happy with 20 ft enclosed trailers. These are just vette fans that like to tow their toys to shows and they don't need anything larger to haul tools and equipment along with their vettes.
Take care,
Brian
The sidepipes with the new home spun inserts sounds really cool. When you are in the car it sounds very much like open headers sound in the car if you have a helmet on. You still get that clean header sound sorta being able to hear each cylinder, just more muffled. It's a real blast when...
Barry,
I have to agree with you about the cool factor of 67Heaven's car and the fact it is one mean street car. However, I would not slink down a side street.......even though I know I will lose in a stop light Grand Prix, I always like to know by how much. Besides how cool is it to launch...
That looks great Bob!
It really finishes it off. It is quite surprising how well the factory moulding looks in conjuction with the Hooker sidepipes.
Take care,
Brian
Robert,
Better yet, come on up to visit us and we can all go for a ride and hold the camera steady:D
Take care,
Brian
PS: Stop by Ottawa and tell Steve to bring his beautiful '67 roadster too;) Hi Steve, good to see you on the CAC. You will love the folks in here.
Barry,
They are meant to be driven.....everywhere:D Rock chips are badges of courage and should never be considered a negative aspect. I drive my car as much as time and money allow. It has some chips and cracks in the paint but overall it still looks great. I have friends with picture...
Barry,
That is great news about the paint!!! Can't wait to see the final pics and to hear about all the fun you are going to have blasting around in the car this summer.
Take care,
Brian
Ray, it should be stunning when the final colour is on and buffed out. Can't wait to see it, as I'm sure you are anxious too!
Keep those pics coming.
Take care,
Brian
Bob,
You definately have the best torque monster type set-up for the street. When I yearn for some wild tire shredding torque you can take me for a spin to sooth my soul. Of course if you really miss the high rpm stuff, just call me and I can take you for a 6500 rpm power shifting rip on...
Great to see more pics of your progress Ray. How is the frame? Is it real solid?
Gheez, all this fun work going on........makes me want to take my car apart!
Take care,
Brian
