I can't tell you the price of replacing the glass, haven't done it or had it done, but the procedure in the shop manual appears quite involved, so my guess is it wouldn't be cheap. The "glass: is available from a hardtop rebuilder:

I think the price is about $350...
You asked, so here's my thought: please don't screw up a perfectly good Corvette.
They are so expensive precisely because they are so loved the way they are, and they are gradually becoming an extinct/endangered species. Unlike the old Ford model A/B (as I see in your moniker) of which...
I'm certainly no expert in this area, but so far as I know, no hiperf cars in the C2 (and C3 to 1968) series had the front steering stabilizer (and power steering doesn't use it), nor did ANY 69 or later C3's. Are you sure you need it?
The 69 suspension is essentially the same as a C2... if you...
6.49% sounds good to me... the only time I tried getting financing for a collector car (about 6 years ago) my bank quoted me 12% (or was it 15%?) when they were offering new-car loans at a much lower rate; shocked (I'm a home owner with a great financial record), I backed off in a hurry, and the...
My caution on this would be that most engine rebuilders give a warranty period of about 6 months, so you may want to consider the possibility (in my case, certainty) that your engine warranty may expire while you are working on the rest of the car.
Filter type is most likely AC PF-25
I haven't dealt with these adapters in many years, but installation should be obvious, I think, once you remove the old filter... the adapter must have a large circular piece with a short threaded rod extending out/down, with 2 small bolts that hold it to the...
The NCRS sells a booklet of color chips for midyears.
The old DuPont code was 4689-LM, perhaps there's a way to determine, through DuPont, how much of what type of metallic flakes went into that formula. Ditzler code was 50706.
If the screw holes are for holding the door panels, or other similar holes where the backside of the hole is accessible but the hole is not an appearance issue on either side of the panel, you could take a flat speednut that fits the screw you want to use and epoxy it to the backside of the panel.
I'm not speaking from my own experience, but from past posts that I made note of. The limiting factor is contact between the front tires and the fenders on turns into sloped driveways.
Some have reported successfully running 215/65 or 225/60 tires on 7 inch rims. Reports are mixed on 215/70...
Or, maybe he stole the car and is afraid you're a COP! :L
You might try the son again, maybe he'll have some luck getting dad to reply. If he's retired to Florida, though, he may have thrown all his old paperwork away... I'm an older guy, and I wouldn't be able to remember even half of the...
Since you are selling the car, I'd suggest you simply tell prospective buyers about the tires and let them replace them with the tires of their choice later.
Engines prior to 1960 do not have an identifier connecting them to a particular vehicle, and this engine is not from a Corvette, therefore it is not particularly valuable... except as a "correct" block for a '58 Chevy passenger car, and perhaps for the fact that it was apparently cast on the...
