    it has a airgap manifold and a holley 750dp the only fitting on the manifold for vacume sits just under the rear fuel bowl, absolutley noway to get a fitting in there..

    yea, i think the oil/grease would cause the bubbles. in the 3 paint jobs I had in 17 years I noticed Istill get snall pimples in a 2 inch section on the door.. I dont think it's the grease or oil but perhaps something else.. I am thinking of doing a blend in, and maybe try a different approach...

    magoo.. I tried what you mentioned there is no problem with in going into reverse.. I drove around yesteday for a bit, and this is the best this setup ever felt, nice and smooth.. geeze I wish I understood how to adjust this many clutches ago..

    yes, I have always had good oil pressure, I didn't go with a HIGH FLOW oil pump, just standard melling pump.. when cold startup it's at 80 when fully warmed close to 40..

    I just went out there and checked my clutch adjustment, I have about 2-1/2 - 3 inches of freeplay, and the clutch engauges about an inch and a half from the floor, so if I were to remove 1 inch of freepaly that would then in return allow my clutch to engauge further from the floor, correct...
