Conv. loaded is 64,000 so the new Z06

The way I see it, a couple of people have got this idea that the new ZO6 will be in the 70K range. No real facts to back up the statement, but just a guess. Now, Dave Hill has said on several occasions "your gonna like the price" ! I'll go with the guy that knows approx. what the price will...

Does Anyone Know Whose Car this is?

Thats correct, they are 18's front and back. Here is the same thing on a MY car. Tires are Khumos V710's and sizes are 275's up front and 315's on the rear.

    C6 Aftermarket exhaust

Interesting exhaust thread but it's missing someone that HAS a Borla system on their C6. In order to make up my mind on a system I'll wait to hear and read some feedback on the Borla. I do know they are making 2 systems and they've been shipped to dealers. A friend of mine is putting a Borla...

    C6 or 50th anniversary coupe

That's an easy one. The C6. Had a 97', 00', and a 2002 ZO6. Will keep the C6 and have no desire to go backwards. So many nice enhancements to the C6 that the C5 lacks. Bob

    Painting C6 Z51 calipers

Yup, freezing our butts off here on Cape Cod too. Heated garage would be nice this time of year. Bob

    Painting C6 Z51 calipers

Yes Yes No No Yes It's quite easy and i just painted over the lettering then used a dremel tool to take the paint off when dried. Jack'er up and paint'em make sure you "prep" the paint surface first. I used the Mid America Motorworks kit that comes with the cleaning solvent, paint and even a...

    CAGS Eliminator Installation at NCM

Your car comes from the assembly plant directly to the museum. There they have the lift and all the essentials where THEY prep your car for delivery. The care and effort that goes into this prep is better than anything I've ever seen at any dealership. Truly a 110% effort by all at the Corvette...

    Lowering a C6

Just lowered mine. The front and read lowering is done the same as you would lower the front on a C5. Same 10mm nut. When you jack up one side you can make the lowering very easy by using a jack stand or another jack to hold the car off the ground then take another jack, put a small block of...

Dave Hill revealed a lot of info last weekend ...

WOW! that's huge news...C6 ZO6 "in showrooms early next year". They are announcing the car in Janaury at the Detroit auto show. That's really big news. I was under the impression that the C6 ZO6 release for sale was the same as the C6 only a year later. Very exciting news!! Bob

May 2004: C6 Corvette Design: Reality or Restraint?

My 20 minute ride in a C6 6-speed with Z51 performance package is that it's a ZO6 but the top comes off and you have all that luggage space in the rear. Shifts better and the throw is shorter. Interior is nicer and the new runflats are excellent. Sound system rocks! Handling is as good as my ZO6...

GM - Here is what we think of the License Plate Mount

So why doesn't GM make a plate mount above the front grill/intake that maintains the exact shape of the car's nose (sorta like the c5/4). Comes body color and fits like a glove with no effect on the aero. Then, those of us that have to have a front plate to even get an inspection sticker, can...

    C6 Exhaust

The exhaust is very quiet. Standing outside you hardly hear a peep. Inside, at cruising speed, and during hard accelleration, you hear very little. Car needs an aftermarket system bigtime!! Even the GM aftermarket team has a cat-back exhaust on the drawing boards. Bob

[Press] Trois Rivieres GTS Race Review: Corvette Remains Unbeaten in GTS

Unbeaten in GTS??? I seem to remember a couple of months ago the C5-R team got hammered at LeMans by the Ferrari. They are doing great now but missed winning the biggest race of the season, and maybe in 50 years!!!
