what i did was remove the rear panel and made extensions where the old exhaust holes were and paint it.Like bob said vancors makes a filler panel that might work for you.

yes it can be done like eddie said by yourself.Im using the vb&p also but in a 360#,its alittle stiff but thats what i was looking for.It also sat up too high and i had to use the vb&p bolts to bring it back down.

a 255/50/17 is a good size for our cars there 27 inchs tall.thats what ill be going with in the fronts and a 275/50/17 in the rear or wider if i can find one.

i had them last year for a bit,i painted them in a cast iron grey color with the top edge in black,with 3 1/2" pipes under them never turned color or peeled.

i just did sidepipes also, the hooker ones with no mufflers right now,probably gone to go with the jcls. heres 2 sound clips of it.The first one is dark and in the garage sorry.The second one was just idling and it was wet from wetsanding getting it ready to repaint...

yes its 2002 corvette,i just got another quart this morning and painted my rear clip ,since i just flared my quarters,my cost was $68 a quart.My interior is midnight blue with black c5 seats that ill be putting in this week.I even painted my block electronblue and clear coated in high heat...

im running a 700r4 with 3.70 gears and id like to step it up some more maybe 3.90's.

yes while painting it he shouldve used fisheye eleminator,i use r/m's brand,ive also used smoothie.Was it basecoat clear coat?and are the fisheyes in the clear if it is,if there not to bad you could wetsand the clear and buff it up.But if there too deep,then like mike said sand and repaint.

well i am one who gelcoated and i admit its alot of work to sand,but the results i was after im happy with.I mustve blocksanded for months but in the end its straight and a great smooth finish.T he main reason i did was there was so many errand strands of fiberglass sticking up.I also gelcoated...

i had tons of muscle cars before my vettes and about 6 vettes so far,i too will be going with an ls-1 possible next year,i sitll have mor ething si want to do now like c5 brakes and such.This was my first tpi install in my vette and so far am very happy with it.

I only use ultra rtv,such as ultra copper, ultra black, ultra blue etc...its alot better then the standard blue rtv,I also never use the seals at the ends only a bead of rtv let it set up alittle then install intake on.And yes a small amount around water jackets.

yes short bolts to raise it and yes ive used air shocks and i have a set sitting here collecting dust.

i say go for it,i did a tpi setup in my 73 and love it.No big deal on the electric fans,i used a dual flexalite setup with a controller to set it at whatever temp i want it to come on at.Im still using my stock radiator also.

you mean the runners on the tpi?i used regular paint then used high heat clear over them.i even painted the block and intake electronblue then high heat cleared them also,never changed color yet.The regular headers are just high heat black,that never last,maybe thinking about ceramic coated...

i also have the dual flexalites and they work great,my air is disconnected.Fits perfect and easy to install.
