I didn't know 91's had an alarm. Regardless, your best bet would be to disable the factory system and go aftermarket... Install an alarm w/ keyless entry.

I recently put 4.10's in my LT4. I found a local shop (AZ Differential) and took the pumpkin to them for the gear install. They supplied the gears (4.10 Viper) and did the internals and gave me back the pumpkin to reinstall. I think I paid them $500 or so. Most places that do this type of stuff...

Keep in mind that that pic is a chop that I did when I ordered my wheels. I haven't taken any new pics since I had the wheels put on - or the GS calipers for that matter - but will very soon. I love the black on black look and the car looks great now...actually much better...
Although the law allows for up to 35% on the sides, I have 20%. Heck many cars here have 5% on the sides...very common. They don't mess w/ you much on tint here because of the heat. 5% (limo tint) is legal on the rear here and is what I have.

No Edmond but I do plan to do dyno her as well as do some 1/4 mi. runs as soon as temps drop a bit (November) here in Phx. Now that I have the 4.10's in an all she really pulls like crazy. I'm expecting some good #'s although a set of DR's would help me w/ my times I'm sure.

Yeah, I've been consistently dumping money into her so she's coming along. Guess the word "done" does not apply when you're talkin' about Vettes. :L
After my HC install I raised my rev-limiter to 6800. I don't necessarily always take it up that high but I periodically shift @ 6500-6700 w/ no problems...motor's still pulling strong.

Of course if you spend more you'll get more features...such as reading the 02 sensors, fuel info etc...BUT to just read codes/erase & kill the light, the $15 one is all you need. In fact, that is basically the one I have.

Do you have a code reader?
If not, as soon as it throws the code/s, I'd stop at the nearest Autozone and see what they pull up. If it's throwing a code, it has to store it in memory.
