I have the BBK 52mm on my LT4 as well. No problems here either...

One other inexpensive option is to remove the mufflers and replace w/ straight pipe (a la muffler elims). You can have them weld the stock tips back on. Shouldn't cost you more than $100 & the Vettes that I've heard w/ that setup sound great.

The 40 series are a Flowmaster muffler.

Dayum! My "BAD LT4" plates ran me $25 here in AZ. Did away w/ the JEFNLSA after we got married. Sounded a little too high school...:L btw, I like SXYVET...I'd keep it!

Shane, I'd say the two are not related. Maybe the stereo is a balance/fader thing. My guess is the headlight is coincidental and just needs to be replaced. Might as well replace both at the same time and go w/ some Sylvania Silverstars. That's all I got man, Jeff
