Bunch of questions about my 1988 Vette

Sorry Ken I didn't notice your location. As a matter of fact they do still have the original Gatorbacks on torhem with very little wear. However, they do not come with the center caps as I used them for my Dymag's. No I don't think it would be cost effective unless a buyer was close enough to...

    C4 The Most Maligned Model?

Back in the day this car was it! The latest, The greatest. And I still love my 87 Callaway today. I have often thought of selling it, then I look at it and aside from the quirks it's a great car. :) i10fwy :beer

GM's buyers reject 'Obamamobile' Volt as campaign heats up

I get Catbert's thought, I choose my vehicle on "what I want" price is secondary. To some a Corvette regardless of price is nut's, but we like them and are willing to pay the price for one. If I were to buy a leading edge economy car I would consider the Volt, not because it is the best choice...

News: GM goes from bad to worse despite Obama bailout

The price of GM stock and Ford stock currently do not reflect actual value and IMHO are a fantastic "buy" The troubles in Europe are the drudge on the market lets just hope Europe can stay afloat otherwise the price of GM stocl will be the least of our worries. :ugh We will get our money back...

    Help! 1969 L88 Corvette VIN 194379S737360

Wouldn't be much fun if it is a good clone. L88's were almost undrivable. You couldn't go to the corner store without it overheating. A brute of a car. I have a 427/400 4spd A/C without PS or PB. Fun for a little while and cool to look at. $27k cheap enough though! :beer i10fwy

    Reeves Callaway married

Yes it was a fun time, I haven't seen Reeves in a long time. Congrats to Reeves & Nikki. Callaway Cars West is a very nice facility I was very impressed and honored to have my 87-070 put out front with the new cars. A great display of Old & New. Now I think they have set-the-hook. I want a new...

Warning! Classic Chevrolet Sugarland Wrecked My Z06 and Don't w

I agree and not sure if the diminished value will hold much credence. However, The dealership owner, not the GM or Service Manager should want to address this issue if he is a large corvette dealer. When I was a dealer you would have gotten the smoken deal of the century just for the goodwill...

    Question: Is My '89 C4 a Greenwood

Certainly looks like Greenwood stuff. It is just a partial though missing the front facia and rear diffuser. I installed many of these on C4's back in the day. It is not any type of factory accessory but rather a dealer installed item. GM did make a over the counter kit ironically called...

    insurance daily driver or not

As a insurance agent, do not use your existing company! Yes, call Adam, Grundy, JC Taylor, Hagerty. They are all just agencies and do not actually underwrite the business. There are actually only a couple of companies that they go through. Usually Philadelphia or Firemans Fund. Insure it for...
