I have a renegade, why would I port a renegade?:chuckle
You already know that so why hassle me on this forum too. Go crawl back into the hole you crawled out of troll.
troll alert!!!!!!!!!!!
Where are these time slips you are bragging about?
By the way just drive over to a track or dyno after work?????? The nearest track is a 4 hour drive and the nearest dyno is 4 hours away also.
I get way more wheel spin with this intake than the stock intake. Low end torque is increased with the renegade. The stock L83 drops off right away but this new intake pulls more like a TPI vette but keeps going to 5500 rpm. I am just running stock heads and cam so it is a good comparison to...

;LOL:rotfl:L:D:):confused I don't get it.
They say 84 vette 7 second 0-60, 1/4 mile 15.5. But a number of people with bone stock crossfires run 15.1 with no mods. I will be interested what my 1/4 mile is.
I will be bumping the timing up to 8 degrees and see what happens.
My 85 vette has 3.54 gears, its 0-60 is 5.5 to 5.7 range.
I don't know what you are getting at, an 85 does 150 easy, A stock 84 does 140-145 mph with a plugged off runners. Open them up and youwill get an improvement in top speed. I guess I will have to get out and hammer on it and let you know.
I just got back from testing my 84 crossfire with a renegade intake with DCS 2" TB's. I have my timing set at 6 degrees(I will bump it up to 8) and my fuel pressure set at 15 psi.
My crossfire would run 0-60 in 6.4 seconds and now I am getting 5.6 with alot of wheel spin. I will try a 1/4...
I am just saying the renegade really works, it performs like my TPI with the 3.54 gears, has power torque from a dead stop to the top end. It ran like a pig until I got the timing set right. Now it is pure fun to drive. It has alot of get up and go now. I was testing it with no insurance...
Timing issue, I set the timing to 8 degrees beforeTDC with the est wire off, and when I hook the est wire back up the engine runs at about 18 before TDC. What should it run at when you hook up the est? The same at 8 degrees or higher?
Having a little trouble with the timing, I want to get...
With the new gasket in the airbox and new gaskets on the TB's between the air box and the TB's made it about a 1/4 inch taller, I will tighten them down futher as they get set in.
I adjusted the fuel pressure gauge by turning it down slightly now the air box cover fits fine. I am not sure, but does the renegade sit a little higher than the stock intake? I put a new rubber seal inside the air box cover maybe that is making it sit a little higher, I do have a 1/4 of an...
