Thats a good idea, I should get out there and get to work on it, while the intak is off I could do some serious detailing, make it look real sharp.:thumb
You guys are busy on here. I don't understand what all the talk is about, the renegade is almost done and they will be sending out a few intakes to select customers and we should all have our intakes in about 2 weeks. How hard is that to understand?
It looks good and the idea sems to work, the only problem I see is you might lose low end torque but an easy fix is a higher stall convertor and some 3.73 rear gears. The runners are tapered so the air is compressed as it hits the heads to help with torque. Say what you will I could have...
No I didn't pull out of the prebuy, ........<SNIP> Your metaphor is disgusting and not within the posting guidelines as set forth for our community!! <SNIP>....... I was one of the first people to order a renegade and still am so maybe I will be getting a renegade early, who knows. I guess if...
Wow its been a year now??? I think we need another update.
I live in Canada and part of the year in Montana, I have nothing to do with DCS, except I was one of the prebuy people trying to get this intake made.
Go ahead and investigate give DCS a call or email them. If I was involved those...
I'm going to Florida in a few weeks so I won't be able to get the new intake on for a while anyway. I can wait for the production run castings. I am just excited that it is finally ready to go.
And no, I am not selling my stuff or trying to advertise it on this site if it is directed to me...
Any idea who will get them first? I'm thinking the guy that was used as the test mule will get one for sure and one of the guys that designed it has one already and the other has the original so there should be 2 more to be sent to a good home. Hopefully somebody that can do some testing on it...
No problem, I will give you my seat of the pants dyno and a 0-60 and 1/4 mile when I get it installed. There will be a bunch of us telling you guys how it runs after the install. We will probably tell you it needs NOS, then we will be tickling the 12's.:thumb
So you want me to do all the leg work and you collect the money for the article? You said your wife drives a crossfire, why don't you put your money where your mouth is and buy the renegade and install it run all your tests and submit the article yourself. Hell anybody can write an article for...
Don't worry bro, you will be rockin your renegade soon, and all these ------ will be jealous that we bolted on over 40 hp with just an intake swap.:chuckle
