Hey mike have not used the cb in my sububuran in years,to many idiots out there. Radio Shack should have a filter for anntenna .If you can find some one who knows what you are talking about .

don`t want to hijack this thread but......little while back had slight miss at mid throttle.just a little annoying ,was still getting 25+on highway. till one nite car went from 65 to idle no throttle limped to my shopput on scanner,no codes. car running on one /two clyinders turns out to be bad...

not that i have much expertise with this new electronics .but.....if that permanent magnet is malfunction or is not letting the sensorpick up the impulse .something stupid like too much oil in cover area? just a though .......

Let me throw this out for you all to ponder. Changed plugs ,cap, rotor, and wires running good. Next changed o2 sensor and replaced tpi switch set to .59volts .fuel mileage is 25+on the highway with my foot in it pulls great. Still feel surge when hot and at idle.Also notice tach and volt meter...

unit is probley low on freon. low pressure switch will not let compressor on with no freon in system

removed unit on mine and had it repaired. Like the factory look. Still sounds like crap....but it is 14 year old tecnolgy

Hey red...the filter you speak of ,does it have a two wire plug? have same trouble with my 90. will try easy fix first. What is the filter used for any way? thanks Bill

That is not good. Might have to unbolt mounts and jack up motor some. Picked up a head unit on e-bay.Not hard to swap out.Though you could give me the heads up on the other unit ...under dash. would like to fix getting hot on this island lately

Thanks yes the compressor is turning on and off with controls. Yes even when change the blower in manual speed stays same. Did have poor connection( when i bought car ) at the head lights didn`t work. Had radio repaired also. pain in the butt getting to THAT control unit. Will check lazy...

hey 193,yeah that is pretty much what is happening, thanks for trying..guess i am not explain it clearly, also no change in blower . number change but no difference in air flow or sound.If sensor (i know there are several) was bad would`nt i get a code? went through factory books again...

Yes the buttons work . when temp is set to 70 for example it we keep blowing until interior is hotter than 70 same thing on the cold side. blower does not seem to move a lot of air through the vents no codes and nothing blocking iinside ducts

nobody has any experence with ecc ????
