    sport seat parts wishlist

Thanx Charles;- I would just LOVE to nip out to Wal-Mart for a bicycle inner tube , or any other of the great American mega-stores which have everything you could ever need at seriously cheap prices . That would mean I'd be in America - I have'nt been for a year and a half due to my wifes...

    sport seat parts wishlist

Been tackling the inop functions of the sport seats in my '93 ,as the weather has suddenly , with no warning turned to summer ,as tho' a switch has been thrown - unreal ! The 'vette will be back on the road in one weeks time and I'm fair busting with anticipation ,I'll tell ya . No doubt...

    Sport Seat Problems

I just came across this thread , due to having probs with the seats on my '93 , and I thought "sounds like it's sucking not blowing " . So - smugness all round , :D I was right !! Glad you got it sorted , these things all add up to satisfaction when they work sweetly . When they don't...

    L.E.D. lightbulbs ?

Hey , WhalePirot..... sounds like you know something I don' t !! Never looked for the flasher relay ,never had to , but I reckon , form the tone of your quip , Chevy decided to give us all a real treat when they placed the relay ! They're good at that !

    L.E.D. lightbulbs ?

Oh yeah, I make certain that the oil and coolant get up to temp . Oil gets to 160 ,coolant to at least halfway up the analogue gauge ,, that is "normal " range , and it runs for another 15-20 minutes from there , with the added jiggling back and forth a couple of car lenghts . I also open the...

    L.E.D. lightbulbs ?

Hmmmmm.... I'll have to check that ,did'nt think to try any other lights at the same time . We'll soon find out , if things play up ,I'll just drop the filament bulbs back in .

    L.E.D. lightbulbs ?

Well..... It's been uncharacteristically dry here for a few days , and getting a bit milder ,so I managed to get the cover off and let some air get to the car . Gave it a run up for 20 minutes to get some oil round and warm up the tranny by letting the car in and out of the drive a bit . Just...

    HID foglights ?

C4 Corvette HID Foglight Conversion Kit That's the link to the set I got ,they appear identical , apart from maybe the printing on the body of the ballasts , all the wiring connectors are the same between the 2 kits , as far as I can see but does'nt match with any of the existing connectors ...

    HID foglights ?

Thanx Charles ! I'll have to look into that a bit deeper , there is some additional wiring around the foglights , I would think associated with the ground requirements and re-routing of live feeds given the change of function between fog and park/sidelights . I have the full kit for the...

    HID foglights ?

HID front foglights ? Has anyone installed the HID foglight conversion from Topline / TLG into a C4 ? Just wondering how you got on with it .The connectors don't bear much resemblance to the existing C4 wiring , as you'd expect ,but the "Chinglish" installation notes have nought but comedy...

    Question: Car Cover

cover / Have a look at cover-zone.com , to get the specs and info on the material ,then try to find a supplier stateside . I got one for my C4 ,the fabric is "Monsoon" ,it is an impermeable type as opposed to the multi-layer types , and the venting is by way of 4 little "elephant ear" flaps ...

(Picture Thread) Show your C4 to the world!

Phwoaaarrrr !!!1 what a pair !!! Dcastine;- My ,my ! Getting greedy are'nt we ?!? Only jesting , of course...one can never have too many nice C4's in my opinion . And these are certainly nice . A big plus is you have somewhere to keep 'em - I'm jealous as hell :cool!: You do right waiting...

    L.E.D. lightbulbs ?

G'dday Air 1........ Was referring to just LED bulbs , rather than complete taillights ,altough I have'nt looked at MAMW's site for those yet . The ones I have lying in a kitchen drawer are just replacements for regular filament bulbs in any car , tho' the C4 with all it's micro-current earths...

reman ECM seemed to do it , but now.........current drain thru ecm?

not much to report ! It's now mid January ,the 'Vette has been stood-down from active service until spring and better weather . The battery remains disconnected , but is still in fighting form when re-connected to start the car every 1-2 weeks . I let the engine get thoroughly warm , as warm...

    L.E.D. lightbulbs ?

Has anyone ever fitted L.E.D . bulbs to the taillights on a late-ish C4 ? I have a pair lurking in my kitchen , and I'm thinking of dropping 'em into my '93 . Do these things cause any glitches or gremlins in the electrickery on these cars ? I put a pair in my '02 Skoda Octavia , and the...

Yeah.......THAT Manchester ! Manchester , England . Th' original one , but , I feel compelled to add , probably not the best one ! We've had snow in late November , not as much as the last 2 winters , which have been severe by our standards - overnight temps of -20/22 . Celsius , that is ...

here's mine ! This is mine ,a '93 LT1. Currently off the road until better weather ,with luck about April . It's frosty again today ,and roads are full of salt - but ......just passed a red C4 right near my house ! Who's is it , I wonder?

reman ECM seemed to do it , but now.........current drain thru ecm?

Hey ,John.... I'll bet your pacemaker does'nt have Corvette electronix in it ! Thing with watches is they operate on microscopic currents , 'Vettes have more "manly" demands ! All seems to be well , the car has now sat for nearly a week due to "pissistent " rain - this is England , after all ...

reman ECM seemed to do it , but now.........current drain thru ecm?

The reference to the dash voltmeters are given as purely relative indication ie , is the batt up , down , dying , keping up or whatever whilst driving , the figures stated for the alternator output are actual multimeter readings . The sparky who attended said that the charge rate was OK , but I...
