I think that if the part number is not in the computer the counter guy is lost. To lazy to find it the old way look in the parts manual.
At both ends of the lower trim you should see a screw. Then you should see another hole, that the roll pin is in. That pin inside is on a 45 degree angle to the outside.
It's not easy to get out. There are two screws and two roll pins at either end. I got mine apart and let a glass shop cut a new glass. It is tempered glass

1.The speedo drive gear slid off the output shaft in the trans [Automatic] found the retaining clip when I dropped the pan to change the filter.

2.The transducer was loaded with carbon would not turn. Cleaned...
