Only the brights, as they are only two wire lights. You will have to make some small connector wires, because they have a small screw contact. Or as I have done, with a solder gun, heated up the post and put the posts from the old inners on the new bulb and not use any wires. Once you get them...
OEM hoods fit the 68-69 Vettes. These years of L88`s have a wiper door. They will also fit later models with the wiper door. Those Vettes without the wiper door will probably find the hood too short as no L88`s were built after 69.
GM only made L88`s from 67-69. 68-69 have wiper doors and any later model Vette without a wiper door will not be able to use a OEM hood. There are some aftermarket companies making a simulated one that will fit those without the wiper door. :)
I have reason to believe the black 62 Vette from Michigan now on E Bay is not a real FI car. It is more likely a very well done 340 car being passed of as a 360 FI piece. A search of the previous owners may support this:(
That is something
I was really interested how! 451 is not in a BS league. Thats serious HP. You have a lot good of high dollar parts and they SHOULD reward you with something and 451 RWHP is certanily "something" . It would be interesting to see, properly set up as far as chassis, gears, and...
Wrong intake and producing 451 rear wheel HP. Thats awsome. Just what exactly has been done to this small block to manufacture this type of power. If you wouldn`t mine sharing your modifications, I would be interested how you did it!:BOW
Voltage should read from 13.6 to 14.4 when running! Amps is merely the output of the unit to run accessories. Not all Vettes have high amp alternators.
Go to http://www.nitroalley.net and see if I run anything stock. Look it over. But don`t miss the A990 Cuda page and start the engine just for the hell of it. :D :m
Hurst Shifter.
Right up my alley! A Hurst shifter was never OEM on 61`s or 62`s or to the best of my knowledge on any Vette. Late models I`m not sure as I do have a Hurst in my Black 2002 SS Camaro Convertible as a OEM unit. George Hurst did want to install one of his units in my 62 Vette years...
93 or 94 will work just fine. The compression ratio would limit the octain. 11-1 is still ok with pump gas. 12 or over you will need some special gas. :upthumbs A true crate LS7 is over 12-1 as is the L88`s.
