It might be a loose ground. I would search this and other forums for info on chassis ground. I recall (but don't remember where-sorry) reading articles/posts from owners that clean electrical grounds and reported solving problems.

Pretty sure the once a year whether it needs it or not is what you have to do to keep the warranty valid. I think that also applies to GMPP warranties. If thats the case, just do it. Its not that expensive.

Thanks. No, haven't done any work on the cooling system. This is a condition that has been present since new. BTW- should have mentioned in original post that the radiator area is free of debris.
