I have a problem that my dealer says he can't see to detect. For some strange reason my security light comes on while I'm driving, I haven't been able to pinpoint if it's at a perticular time or speed or anything like that because it varies as to when it comes on and it stays on until I turn the...
I would have to say I will never get raped again for new car pricing when I can wait a few years and get a used one after all the kinks and bugs are worked out for less money. Got my 98 2 years ago for 30k so I'll wait until 06-07 to get a C6 if it appeals to me. If not I'll spend the money on...
No Plate here in Seattle but it is required, got pulled over once but given a warning told them I don't even know how to get the nose plate off. He said go to the dealer. I just think he wanted to see who was driving the car because he had never seen it on his beat before.:crazy It was 7:30 on a...
I know the Call stuff is top of the line but I was saying GM needs to look at those seats and upgrade the leather, give more color combos, the piping ect...and the 15k is exactly what I'm talking about in the aftermarket world. Even if you just wanted to upgrade the seats alone you're going to...
I know this belongs in the C6 territory but that's the kind of stuff Im talking about when it comes to interiors. Those seats are slammin':cool and the color is off the meat rack:_rock GM needs to be doing that kind of work:duh so we don't have to pay through the nose in labor charges and all...
If i was going to spend 25,000 on a conversion it would be the Retro 53-03:birth tribute to the 50th which is better than the GM model. I agree it looks like an import wanna be but some of the ques could be looked at by GM.;)
C6 Interiors
The C5 does have it's good points and bad. I like woodgrain because it adds that old classic touch of elegance ie.(Jags, MG's and Benz) and it should at least be offered as an option. The Ken King interiors from Vette Essentials is an awesome touch:cool (a litttle pricey) but still...
98 Coupe driven everday in that rainy town of Seattle! Best thing is having that top off on those nice clear days when the beauty of my town can't be beat! Mountains, lakes and the pacific all in plain sight!;worship
In the Words of Sir Mix A Lot " I like big butts and I can not lie!" The C/5 Looks great compared to the plain looking C/4 Fat stance sleek lines wide body all the curves a man could ask for and in all the right places. The interior is the only set back Imo.
Some things you just need to overlook! Truth of the matter is we are not all buddies we just have a common thread that ties us all togther and that's the love of Corvettes and for that reason we should have a courtesy towards one another and be respectful. Maybe through this love and...
I'm with that, because they said this was the best place:CAC to talk about that future dream machine! No matter how we feel being the die hards that we are somebody is going to see that C6 and fall in love;worship with it because most Americans dream of owning a Corvette at one time or another...
Yo BI I sent you an e-mail to your personal address I hope i went through read it and don't let something as menial as this keep you away from the little people:nono. Rob said his self opinions are like ***holes :booty everyone has one and sometimes they can be full of sh and it but that's no...
You cats have way too much time on your hands to turn this thing into something personal.:argue BI has never slammed the car and Rob is right it's still too far off to really form any true feelings about the car so let's keep chopping it up enjoy life and remember the waiting is the hardest...
Good job DavidWP in lightening up that photo those wheels are ok just a somewhat thicker version of the C5 wheels. It's been said that beta wheels may not even show up in production. I believe they can do better. I really like how the AW wheel is caved in the center and fatter spokes.:upthumbs
The Auto Week wheel is tight to me they just need to be chrome so thay can bling bling in the sunshine. I like wheels that are fat and shine bright. GM has a way of using some of the ugliest wheels i.e. all the C4's were just gross. The 97 & 98's were ok and the 2000's are cool but I don't like...
