although I can remember listening to the Indy 500 a few years before this, I always thought this car epitomized American open-wheel racing: my grandfather worked for Sun Oil Company, and when Donohue won Indy, it felt like 'we' were a part of it Classy paint with contrasting pinstriping...

TOTALLY-different era, but Johnson's records shouldn't be dismissed simply because of that: I believe it is quite possible that Johnson will become #2 on the All-Time Win list, surpassing David Pearson's 107 like-it-or-not, we ARE seeing history being made
