Curious why the valve covers (i think they are the covers, but could be wrong?) are red, just cosmetic?
To start off with, noise restrictions for federal and local requirements. Also, noise restrictions for car owners. it is easy to change the exhaust for performance minded people, but for the average vette owner sound is more important (or I should say lack of sound)
you need to balance both on the inside and the outside.
I know of a few people that can balance with no weights on the outside, or you can use stick-on weights

:) knowledge yes, but no time:( I am sure hrtbeat will fix the handful of minor items that need fixing. She runs like mad though, and ASR is the only thing that keeps it between the lines! (BTW: to disable it, just press the button above the headlight switch!)

There really isn't much of a difference in any of the C5's. The only ones are the wheels, HUD, Active Handling, and the magnetic suspension... all that stuff is just add ons IMO.

I agree with the over inflation... if they are wearing in the middle, you have too much air in them.
The other problem is run-flats suck. My dad has a '98 that he drives very easy... the rears wore out first (20k miles). We replaced with regular Goodyear F1 non-runflats and the wear is far...
I needed mine this morning to melt the ice off the back glass :mad my garage is in shambles from getting Xmas stuff out of the attic, and the vette sat outside last night... and it was FREEZING this morning
I agree though, no adverse affects using the defroster. i've had mine for years...
