After doing this i was very pleased with the antenna fully retracting. But i've noticed reduced reception on some stations i used to have. I checked the antenna connection in the rear tray again, and it was fine. I'm not sure what is the problem. Do the ground connections have any effect? Any ideas?

My owners manual is in a nice leather case that zippers closed with little notes and a flash light. I accidentally tore the back on the leather case. Where would I get a new one? I read Helm's some place?

Good as new! Good as new! I spent some time with Krazy glue and was up til 1:30am putting this all back together. I also added several plastic braces (the white) where it was cracked. I hit Home Depot and got some bolts and washers. I'll install over the weekend in the day light.
