Well... just from guessing here... and seeing as how you are from Canada *hehehe* I am thinking that tempatures are not the warmest up there. The reason you may be hearing ticking is because there is no oil in the top of your engine until it warms up and pushes it through the engine block...
I almost wonder if it doesn't have some type of internal battery. While the car is running it turns to the internal battery, while off it depends on the external... no, that still sounds silly. It resets itself to the correct time when first turned on. Let me ask you this... does your...

Three speed automatic I believe. I think all the manual transmissions were four-speeds.
I guess I am mistaken. I wouldn't believe it. Why would anyone want a three speed manual?
He is probably a Mustang guy... and compared to the Mustang GT it is more expensive. Even compared to the Shelby Mustang that is coming out if I remember correctly. Supposedly just under $40k.

Now if you are going to do it... there needs to be someone to go ahead of you and hand out ear plugs before you drive up and to warn the kids not to be scared :L. And Burnouts must be supervised by parents as well (espically the dad's):D
Did you make the kids remove any belts, watches, or loose jewelry first? You are a good man Newbe. Just make sure the kids don't overcharge you for your lemonade when they see your car.
