Press Release: Michelin Wins First OE Corvette Fitment

The wingfoot brass must be beside themselves at loosing this one, considering how long they have been the only OE tire on Corvettes. - Eric:w

    Turn signal problem

Mine did the same thing. I replaced the bulb to no avail. It would work when I plugged the light in the socket and tested it, then I would plug the socket back into the housing and no light. Turned out to be a loose wire in the socket. There are two (or three) wires running into the back of...

    COOL - C57's

I hear ya. I think it's the C5's high waistline and low profile windshield that cause the execution to seem somewhat off. That said, I like it anyhow. - Eric:w

2008 Corvette Z06 Daytona 500 Pace Car Unveiled

Uhm, yeah, I think what Catbert's meant to say was that the paint scheme designer had a case of design diarrhea.:boogie JMHO, - Eric:w

In cars, white's the new silver

I've had at least one silver or grey car since 1985, way before it became popular. I'm kinda glad to hear that it may be on a decline in popularity. Now I won't look like a herd follower. It's great, my silver cars almost always look clean. The only exception is when they're covered with...

Winter in the North, what do you do??

A wise quote from a wise man - at least I got half of that right;LOL. I guess that makes me a wise ass.:boogie Me, I just feel sorry for you frozen folks. We may get a foot or two over the entire winter but I can usually get out and have some fun as soon as a good rain washes out the most...

Have you tucked your Callaway away for the winter season yet???

Chris, you big old baby:(. With the front end on Big Red, she'll plow all the snow right out of your way, no problem.:upthumbs I know you might think it would be slummin, but if your in the neighborhood and a paltry C5 will do, we can go for a spin. - Eric:w

another guy DEAD who failed to think...

Now that is sweet, all it's missing is the cupholder! And those casters look very nice, none of those itty bitty wheels that get caught on the slightest grain of sand on the garage floor. And nothing I own weighs 15 tons so it would do just fine.

With 430 base horsepower it's the only car on the road that makes $70,000 look like..

I think those are Canadian prices from a time when our dollars weren't quite the same.

So...how many of us take our Vetts out if it is raining?

Mine has barely seen a drop of rain this year but that's only because apparently it no longer rains in the state of Virginia, at least not since I can remember. Once it finally rains again, I'll drive it. I prefer to drive the Monte Carlo since it has better wet tires but the Vette has been to...

Corvette Plant to Make Two More GM Vehicles

Kinda makes one wonder if GM may have bigger plans for the Sky and Solstice. Maybe the Mallet versions of those cars with the V-8 is giving GM some ideas. - Eric:w

    C5 Noise Reduction

I did the same, made a HUGE difference in road noise. In fact, I don't really notice it much now when I have the radio on. - Eric:w
