Have had a Meziere on my 96' for two seasons now and couldn't be happier. Easy install and no problems yet. :lou I think the CSR wasn't out at the time I bought the Meziere, not sure the flow rate would be enough for the C4 as hot as these babies run.
"The black book says that there were 2400 and some made with that exterior that year. I found a link from this site that says that only 907 were made with that interior. When I added up all the exterior numbers they came out to the 53,000 that were sold that year, but the interior numbers don't...
I was really wanting a Zr1 for the extra width to tuck bigger wheels without alot of mods, but I would consider any year. I don't have a computer at home and my work computer is filtered and I can't get on the "Forum" due to the way they list there site. So if ya could send me what ever info you...
They'll fit no problem. I put 96 seats in my 91. I even left the orig seat pan in and just swapped the foam onto the bottom and some minor hardware and bolted the 96 backs onto the 91 seat pan. I've even seen a few C4's with C5 seats. enjoy :upthumbs
ie; 485 Competition Yellows in 1996 built, 390 where coupes, 9 coupes had a grey int., 6 where autos and 3 where LT4's. Of those last 3, 1 had a F45, mine has the Z51 and I haven't found the last one yet. So my car is 1 of 1, or 1 of 2 built.
http://www.collectoreditionregistry.com/ use to be the site a few years back...
but I see the domain is down now. I printed out a copy back then and have the info if ya need some #'s. Its broke down into total Color, coupe, verts, and then int. color, and then suspension type. The rest ya have...
275's up front with work just fine. No rubbing problems. I actually run 285's on all 4's when I solo race. All C'4s came standard with the narrow tire wheel combo up front after 1993 until 1996. Exception to the rule was the Z51 susp., then you got the 275's on all 4 corners. The narrow tire...
Don't get me wrong I love the CE's, but to say it collectable because of a chome badge I have to disagee. Don't you think a Aqua LT4 conv. with a Beige int. (only 2 built) would be worth more than the CE LT4 conv. with red int. (68 built) all car conditions being equal? At the least it would be...
Collector Edition ? There's nothing collectable about them.... they where the most mass produced Corvette of 1996. A chrome badge on the hood dosen't make it collectable. Low miles and rare colors/options will make it worth more some day, long after were all dead and gone. Get the best LT4 you...
91 was the first year of the "Saw Blade" rims. 1990 rims were a one year only stye the same as the 89's except the lug nuts where exposed instead of hidden under a plate. Of course the 17x11 of either style will fit your car.
Sounds like a nice car..... a bit rare also. As you may know, most people opted for the beige int. with the Polo Grn. There where only 50 LT4 Polo Grn w/blk int. built. Depending on the suspension you have, that number drops again...... only 5 of the above cars had the F45 option !!!!! Enjoy
Traction control OFF !!!!!!! also make sure to ture off A/C. My LT4 runs 13.2/13.3 at 106/104 mph with 2.1/2.2 60 ft times. Stock tires, open air box, K&N, camber exhuast. Pretty much stock and I'm not a drag racer. I have to lanuch at around 1800 rpm to get the stock tires from burning off...
