About to put a new set of tires on my 08 vert and I may replace the wheels .I'm looking possibly replacing the wheels with chrome .I've looked at a few sites but nothing trips my trigger .I've checked Ebay and Tire Rack .

Correct it does need to be driven much more .Wife had a series of strokes and I didn't feel comfortable leaving her while I'd do one of my spontaneous road trips .She's doing much better so if she doesn't want to go on a road trip I can leave her . Sadly Corvettes are not holding their value...

New battery and new key FOB battery and all issues cured .30 minute drive and computer made all adjustments .New tires and she is ready .

08 vert ,manual trans :I've stored the car for over a year so I decided I'd get it out of hibernation .Hooked up the battery with full charge but I had issues .First I had to enter via the trunk (no biggie )Got in and no FOB detected so I stuck the key in the appropriate slot in the glove box...

I don't know why people get paranoid about disconnecting a battery .All you have to do is re-index your windows and re-set your clock ,the car does the rest when you drive it .
