Go to the plumbing section in Home Depot and find the correct adapter. It won't look pretty but will work correctly. I have a pic of mine somewhere, i'll see if I can find it.

    Help! Transmission Question

You can tell by the rings(grooves) around the input shaft. I believe one ring is M20 and two is M21. I need to look it up to be sure.

Tired of reading Does anyone run a performer rpm under an 82 hood?

You may be able to get away with a LT-1 drop base air cleaner bottom and a shorter filter but you may have some problem with the vent tubes and/or choke hitting the top of the air cleaner. If you are running a stock L-83 you would be better off with the Performer over the RPM anyway.

Question: Digital tach conversion on a C3

The MSD tach drive dist. is exactly the same as the one you have now but with a provision for the tach drive cable. It will require the 6A box you have already to work.

Question: Digital tach conversion on a C3

MSD makes a tach drive distributor. Its the 1st thing on my"want list". Maybe you can see if you can exchange yours.

No spark on my c3 vette

Sounds like you lost the ignition module in the HEI. Either that or the coil went bad. Some auto part stores can test an ignition module, I would try that first.

    Tires

Tire Rack has about 10 different choices for 225/70-15. I prefer 245/60-15's on C3 Corvettes.

Most desireable of each group of C's

I'll say 1970,the best of the chrome bumper sharks.( I may be a little biased ) For the rest i'll go with 57,63,95 ZR-1,04 CE, and new 427 Conv.

    Tires

I think a 245/60-15 is the best size tire to put on a stock rimmed Corvette.

    engine combo advise

10.0 compression with aluminum heads shouldn't be a problem. I'm using Fel Pro 2094 rubber coated shim gaskets with my AFR 195 heads with the same cam Glen is running (XE274HR) and it runs great.

    Question: 1995 camaro ZR-1

If you are in the market for a Camaro I would suggest looking for a 98 or later LS1. LS1's can be identified by the big black plastic intake manifold under the hood. My daily driver for 11 years was a 94 LT1 Z28 Hardtop. It was one of the best cars I ever owned.
