Wipers power OFF while driving in rain.....

That's the thing... there are a few pieces to the puzzle that have to be tested and ruled out. Otherwise, it's throwing good money at parts that might be working. ;)

    Question: 1984 Throttle Body Replacement

Sounds like if you had fuel that stopped spraying... it was an injector. If so, that is an injector that is bad. You can replace those fairly easily. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Question: Best way to tune 1990 w/ some intake mods

It's all good. :D I think this will clear things up. :thumb I pulled the text right off Dynamic EFI's web page and put it in a quote box- and attributed to them. ;) It says "Originally Posted by Dynamic EFI P4 Flash Overview" in the quote box the forum generates. It's a small but important...

    HyperKuhl Super Coolant

I tend to agree with what's posted about additives. The best way to prevent corrosion, overheating, and damage is to change your coolant at the proper intervals and to use a quality antifreeze. Also, if your water pump, fans, and radiator are all working properly and coolant is changed at...

Question: Best way to tune 1990 w/ some intake mods

I don't want to thoroughly hijack this thread, but as folks read this and it gets searched over in an archive... a response might be helpful Dynamic EFI is not a company I work for (or with). So, they are the best folks to ask questions to. :thumb That said, EBL's datalogs are at 17 FPS...

Question: Best way to tune 1990 w/ some intake mods

For a stock Vette... EBL is slightly overkill. EBL does come with a BIN for the 1990 Vettes. :thumb And... all of our Vettes started out stock. ;) :chuckle :thumb But hey, it's food for thought around tuning and future mods, right? Especially when you talk about cam changes.

Question: Best way to tune 1990 w/ some intake mods

Hib... Dynamic EFI's ECMs are indeed flashable from a laptop. EBL P4 Flash I've suggested changing out his ECM to one from Dynamic EFI so that if/when he changes the cam he can tune it... :thumb

Question: Best way to tune 1990 w/ some intake mods

I use Dynamic EFI's EBL system. That ECM has a flash programmable capability that lets you upload a calibration from your personal laptop. For your car, it would be the EBL Flash P4 which is for port injection. You can use your laptop to datalog the car as you drive it. The software from...

    Help! Removing TPI Runners

Where are the broken bolts? Can you post a picture? It sounds like the wrong bolts were used or someone cross threaded the correct bolts. Broken bolts are not really normal. If you can't get an extractor onto what's left of the bolt you'll have to drill them out or replace the intake...

    C4 Mufflers

Finding the right muffler for your exhaust... can be exhausting. LOL On a serious note, have you typed in muffler brand names and Corvette to see what they sound like on YouTube? What you may like might be different from what others like. Corsa, Magnaflow, and Borla are thrown around a lot as...

    Warning! Blueprint Engines warranty complaint

This is why tuning is HUGELY important!!! If anyone is upgrading their engine themselves... I seriously recommend Dynamic EFI's EBL systems (P4 or flash). You will need to adjust the timing, fueling, and calibration settings if you have different heads, cams, etc. Without some sort of...

Question: c3 electric fan not working

Hi! You'll need to double check this, but if I remember correctly the sensor is located in the passenger side head. I think there is also a relay in the system. You should check both of those if you believe the fan is working properly. Do you have an assembly manual? If not, that would help...

Question: 1981 Fuel Line from Pump to Carb

The 84's line is a little different. :( Thanks though. Yeah, my question was directed at satisfaction with aftermarket fuel lines more than needing one. I wasn't impressed. I was wondering if others had the same experience. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Wipers power OFF while driving in rain.....

I think it might be this part... 1980-1982 Corvette Intermittent Wiper Module Those are known to go out. But like 82Col said, could also be a few other parts. Problems like that can be tricky to track down. You almost need to back probe when it happens at the wiper motor unit and then trace...

    My Modified '82

I posted this image in another place on the CAC, but thought I would reference it here as well. Ambient air temperature and air charge makes a difference. Cold days in winter (20*-40*) and I will run faster times 0-60 and hot days ( (90*+) in the summer I will run slower 0-60 times. So, there...

Polyurethane Upper And Lower Control Arm Bushings

There are things I will do. I have no problem with pulling engines, revamping air & fuel delivery, intakes, and even working on the calibration itself. I will be brutally honest... I hate working on suspension. That's my least favorite thing to do. And that's when I subcontract out. I don't...

Question: 1981 Fuel Line from Pump to Carb

For you guys who have changed out hard line, how did the aftermarket parts fit? Obviously the 82 has a different set of lines... but I was shocked the aftermarket fuel line that runs between the TB units didn't fit at all. It was like the jig used was too big. So I ended up using AN lines...

    Nitromethane

I use carb cleaner as a solvent on appropriate surfaces. Spray it and wipe it off. I also wear the right equipment on my hands- that minimized cleaning them. Usually it's thick, disposable non-latex gloves like Gorilla Gloves. :thumb
