    Help! polarity

B Yes to all. Anything is possible. I am sure there are some melted wires. Check the fusible link, but don't do anything until you are sure nothing is melted under the dash. Proceed with caution.

    A little brake help please

I agree. Try bleeding as first step. With new rotors, check the run out. Most likely sucking air, especially since you do not see any leaking.

Hi Gary, I have a couple of questions. Why do they replace stub axles when they rebuild rearends? And do you use new or re-manufactured / rebuilt stub axles?

Question: ZZ5 engine swap 1981 Corvette

The car is long gone from the shop, so no pictures available. The headers are Patriot Tight Tuck making sure you get the ones that fit D-Port cylinder heads. Since the heads will take your original intake manifold you have that option and can use your original hood if you choose to. The...

Question: ZZ5 engine swap 1981 Corvette

They told me that there is a dual intake manifold bolt pattern under the intake that comes with the ZZ5. So it might be possible to use your existing intake?

Question: ZZ5 engine swap 1981 Corvette

The ZZ4 swap was easy. Change the water pump to a stock Corvette water pump ( use your original) and grind the head off of one of the timing chain cover. I do not remember which one but it is obvious. All of the components will bolt right up using the original brackets. I just had a...

Help! Fuel Gauge is pegged past full

Sound like the sending unit wire (resistance wire) is loose some where. Check the tank. You might be able to reach in from the filler cap and giggle the wire and see the gage react. If it is not there you will have to follow the wire back to the gage.
