    Yes to both. Start with the window and get it as close as it will get. Then align the top to window. It might take a couple of tries.

    Narrow belts are for PS and Alternator, wider belt is for AC. That is the way they were from the factory. You could go wider if you can find the right length. It should not hurt anything to go wider but, not necessary.

    If your car has a tilt-telescoping wheel it is part of the window wiper switch. That switch is very hard to find. It is a one year only switch. There are used ones available. The handle should be pulled toward you to turn on and off the brights. Non tilt steering wheels the switch is easier...

    Of coarse it depends how bad they are. SOS pads work, but chrome Polish is a better starting point. It it is best to always start off with the least aggressive and work your way up. Remembering once the damage is done there is no going back. Good luck.
