What I dont understand is why doesnt someone just add a turbo using SLS's rear mounted units? I cant find their website but have seen their stuff on TV. Stacey David on Gearz did this with a newer vette that was given away in a promotion.
The system is cool in that 2 turbos mount in the rear...
That would probably explain the recent hike of 10 cents per gallon at both Shell stations we frequent. Usually their prices vary and we choose one or the other depending on which way we go to Allentown. But now they are EXACTLY the same;shrug
God no! dont cut it!:ohnoes
It grounds to the chassis/brace right next to the battery . :w

Carbon fiber sills with aluminium/or stainless plate with logo!!! I'm drooling!
How about a red/black carbon weave?
Personally I think the stock GM colors boring in that EVERYTHING seems to be a monochrome. I like contrast. For instance I use the black floormats instead.
Seemingly...
YES! Tony you are 100% correct, I edited the above.
What I meant was that yes the fogs can be independent like with parking lights .......duh..sorry for confusion..but
With headlamps ON the following applies:
Fog lamps go on ONLY with low beams.
Driving lamps go on ONLY with high beams...
OK...how about stainless steel doorsills and SS panel inserts?
Are we talking a brushed finish, mirror finish or turned. HEY! Once you open that design door I'll make your head spin! I'm dying to see those CF panels!!!
And BTW, 99% of the time my answer to your question when there is a choice...
84-85 Fog lights came on ONLY with the headlight doors up. The headlight doors didnt close until the switch was in OFF. Once the headlight doors were up and the headlights were on you could click to parking lights and the fog lights would stay on but the doors were up with the headlamps OFF...
I didnt bother to register. But, hasnt there been a C4 registry around for about 10 years? Maybe its a slightly different name but I remember the other registry asking for VIN numbers and color combos, etc. All the necessary info to clone a car from a stolen one!:ohnoes
Helm is still the cheapest I've ever found. I'd rather deal with a company I can trust then anyone on ebay no matter how reputable. Feedback only goes back 1 year now and some people have multiple names to get around bad feedback. Not that the recommended person isnt on the level...but you...
Which way did you put it in? From the firewall side or thread the whole cable through from the interior?
The replacement shown at Eckler's seems to be different than mine that is more cone shaped. Corvette Hood Release Cable, 1984-1996 I'm hoping the hole through firewall is the same size...
Thats was very nice of him. I'll bet he thought it was gonna be easy too at first. :W You'rs may be the last he did do! :L
I'll bet there is some GM line worker somewhere who could do it in 2 minutes and would be laughing their butt off if they saw all the vette owners and Gordon...
Thanks Ted! Ours is Medium grey too and that was EXACTLY what I was wondering if they still had them or if replacements looked appropriate! Could you please post a few picks so you we can see the difference when it gets done?
BTW, will they let you keep the old belts? There still would be...
Leftoverture is CORRECT! No need to be so hostile especially when you apparently dont understand proper terminology nor how a car charging system works!
When you start your car or use electric devices when "...driving your car every day" it drains the battery and the voltage regulator...
Colors fade over the years and are difficult to photograph. We KNOW the color existed so why wouldnt it be genuine?
If you have the paperwork for God's sake dont paint it preserve it! Even if there is doubt about paperwork being altered and you need a "second opinion" order a new build sheet...
The Corvette Magazine site is actually WRONG for an 84.
You NEED to remove the bottom rocker panel 10mm bolt. Only later did GM notch the panel tab so it slides out unless someone already "fixed" it for you :-)
You will also have to loosen the rocker panel bolts under the door to remove...
