You know what guys.....I'm likin the C4 emblem more and more with each passing year! I did think it looked ugly at one time compared to the new V-flags. Thinkin on gettin some new ones on Amazon though, mine, a little faded.

I don't have any idea but maybe check with the shop that did the check valve replacement, maybe they give you insight on how that could happen. Insulation shouldn't be part of the ducts that are plastic passageways with insulation being only on the outside?

Anyone have a preference for a dash cam for the C4? I had one on the mirror but too heavy, looking for something small. I have the power there and will probably make up a bracket for it that uses the mirror screw. Thanks

Lot's of grounds on this car. Follow the frame rails for a lot of them. I happened to take out the spare tire and noticed there's one under that as well. Hope you get her straightened out! Sounds like an intermittent loose connection. Have a look at the computer connections as well.

This helped me with my problem with a 93. Read it over well. My problem was with the door switches, a continuity check and they were good. My problem was the fact the plastic piece on the jam was not quite holding them in all the time. The alarm was going off in the middle of the night because...

Hey all, Has anyone upgraded the antenna with a hidden one? Mine works fine as I changed the motor some years back adding the switch so it don't come up all the time. I just thought a hidden one would be more up with the times. Are they just as good, that would be my next question. Thanks!

I'm not sure about the 87 but I was always told headers and exhaust, to start there. Guess a lot depends on displacement. I'm sure others will help you out with this. Good luck in your project.

Like Gwinter posted, if the car has an ignition module, replace it. The no code thing is because it's like turning the key to "off" position....something's turning off your ignition and the computer can't tell if it's you turning off the car or a circuit opening.

I guess that's why their outfitting the new vette with an LT2 based on the LT1 which was remarkable reversed cooled 350. For a mid-engine sports car that says something!

Yes, I just did mine as well. You have to be real careful with any water near the engine. Keep the opti dry. I have a 93 and the bleed valves are in direct line with the Opti, you have to be careful and need to divert any antifreeze. It's a common problem.

Wow...seen it on facebook doing a tour in NYC and also the plant in Bowling Green I believe, it was cruising around. Great you got to see it in person though, should be interesting when it's unveiled sometime this July!

Great write up on the repair. Repaired a lot of electronics on different vehicles. I use mouser electronics, have most of what I need. It's been a while now cause Amazon has a lot as well in the way of realy, caps etc. The harder to find stuff....mouser.
