I try to use red all the time but I have used blue before. Use blue only on bolts that are not life threating, for example valve covers, body panels, or similiar parts but only use red if its suspension, brakes, or similiar items. Just my .02 cents.
Keep in mind, if you add or remove shims from the body mounts it will probably change your door and fender gaps also.
I would check you front springs first.

Your right, but the 60'ft time is part of the elapsed time. So if you lower your 60' to 1.8 (his was 2.3) you would see even a larger decrease(more the .5) by the end of the quarter.
Reaction will help with the win light at the other end.

Barry,
You are right, it was late and I don't know what I was thinking. You leave on the last yellow light.
When staging, you light the first staging light then bring up your rpms and light the last staging light. When the last yellow light comes on, you leave.
Sorry for the...
Barry,
That's not bad for a beginner. Were you leaving on the 2nd yellow light? If not, that would explain the reation time. You leave on the 2nd yellow light, in case no one told you.
I assume you had skinny stock radials on. With some drag radials, you probably could pick up 1/2 a second...
I was thinking that it was a bubba spacer for the door. It appears it has been there for a while. The window and locks are manual so its not an electrical connector but it does look like that now you mention it and no there is not one on the door.
It appears to be glued in place and the 3...
This is in the door jamb on the front pillar, actually I have them on both door jambs and I have never seen them before. Can anyone tell me what they are?
Thanks
Chuck
I should give you a more accurate example, as an A rating is still grade 8 bolts but just not as shiney. They both got you covered just one is chrome and one is flat black. :D
It's nice to have the best but is it necessary. A rating of A++ vs A is like having a grade 8 bolt to hold down the valve covers. You know that the valve cover will not come off with the grade 8 bolt, but will you worry about it with a nice standard ss bolt. I would not.
But if it helps you...
I think both are good companies. Obviously an A++ rating is better than an A but both are great ratings. If you get into B or lower I would start to consider looking at a different company but again a company can get a lower rating if they are having a growth spurt because their reserve fund...
Actually Allstate does not own them. Encompass is reinsured by Allstate. Totally different thing. Because the collector car market is a small market (compared to daily driven cars) Encompass has gotten Allstate to back them up. All insurance companies are required to keep a portion of funds in...
There were 200 made. I don't know if any are still available or not but if there is, it is a real small number.
I can't wait to get it on the road.
Thanks
Chuck
