John McGraw or anyone else that ran EFI in their SRIII (or other) cars

I went with the rock valley tank also, if you check out my homepage, you can see a pic of my tank. It was 1000 after shipping. I used the stock line for return and ran the feed next to the stock line.

My experience with Nu Air body dollies

JohnZ, I don't think I have every found myself with a different opinion then you with the exception of this one. Tom did NOT return calls as promised by him 3 times (never did return a call), did NOT refund payment as promised by him. In my book a standup guy would call you back as promised...

    Steeroids Rack and Pinion

Tim, I remember the post, it was started by 67Heaven but the pics and install info was by Stepinwolf. I searched by posts on Stepinwolf and could not find it either. He had changed the tie rod ends for ones from VBP, made a couple of brackets himself with thicker gauge metal. I also went...

Help with Upper A-arm set up

Tom, You are right, if your alignment setting were where you wanted them. Ie you need a large stack to get it where you need it then turn the offset to the outside pulling the ball joint in or if you have no shims and still need it to go out to get you desired setting then then the offset to...

    Front Suspension Upgrade

JohnZ, I just call Van Steel to inquire about the rear setup and they said that they are not happy with that setup and are coming up with a new one. Seems they are worried about the wheels flipping over on their side, not enough strength. They are hoping in a couple of months the new setup...

    Front Suspension Upgrade

TleBlanc, You might check out these sites: http://www.lateral-g.net/forums/index.php4? or http://www.pro-touring.com/forum/ I saw someone with a c2 or c3 going with the coil over setup, not sure if they had any road time yet though? I opted for the VBP setup, but I don't have it on...

Who else has removed the STEEROIDS system?

Mark, I have to agree with Stepinwolf. It was more likely the alignment was off. The shop might have setup the alignment for sport driving which will make it feel darty. Vbp's site shows info as follows (notice comments at the end about advance street settings) ...

    C2 Big Block questions

I wonder if it ain't the difference in power band, your crate motor should have a broader power band as opposed to the higher ( top end power) of the 427. Also did the c-2 seem to have better traction? I would think it would have better traction which would you feel in the seat of your pants...

    Need picture of Parking/Brake handle

Stepinwolf, I must be making a clone of your car, I plan on switching the 65 to a 67 parking brake setup too. Also you will need to plan for the pulley wheel on the tranny crossmemer. I ended up using a crossmember from bowtie overdrive for a c-3, the pulley is already attached. Chuck

    car on jackstands question

As far as I know it shouldn't hurt anything if you have it up on jack stands forever. What would it hurt? Probably help if your not driving it for a long period of time (months). Up on stands would keep the tires from getting flat spots. You could start and put in gears and lube things up...

    Big rubber

Stepinwolf, I plan on the same mods this spring. I found this link useful: http://www.onr.com/user/richb/rich66/bodyworkfeb272004/index.html He list the tires he has. Chuck

    C2 on jackstands - 2 questions

Barry, I have been working on car since I was 16 and I am 43 now. In all my years, you can jack it up from the front or side( from 35, 45, 90 or what ever degrees). The jack will move as stated above, that is normal. As where to put the jack, you want it where it will not damage the car. Good...
